I had a very unusual photo session with the folk music legend and environmental activist Pete Seeger a few weeks back at his home on the mountain in Fishkill, NY. The photo session, while not in my studio, was intended to be the final photo for the Beacon’s of Music series. Enough to say that I was only able to snap a few frames before we were unceremoniously asked to leave the premises. It’s a story that I am hesitant to relate as it is not how I wish to remember my first ever meeting with Pete. Regardless of how others acted, Pete was most charming and gracious and I was able to catch him in a quiet moment.
